A walk that feels like a celebration.

Join us for a fun, family- and dog-friendly day at Vasona Lake County Park, a facility of Santa Clara County Parks, in Los Gatos. Walk for Wishes brings together wish families, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community members for a morning of walking, celebrating, and making life-changing wishes possible for local children with critical illnesses.

Choose between two scenic walk routes, including a new extended 5K option, and enjoy a day filled with activities, entertainment, and community spirit. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to build a team and fundraise to help grant more wishes across the greater Bay Area. Fundraisers can earn prizes, including an exclusive Walk for Wishes t-shirt.

Schedule of Events

8:30–9:45 a.m.: Check-in opens. Complimentary breakfast and pre-walk activities available.
9:45–10 a.m.: Welcome program featuring KRON4's Reyna Harvey, CEO Betsy Biern, and Los Gatos Mayor Rob Moore, followed by our inaugural dog costume contest.  
10:15–11 a.m.: Walk around Vasona Lake County Park. Choose from:

• 1.3 mile route
• New! Extended 5K route 

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Post-Walk Celebration

The fun doesn't stop at the finish line!

Stick around for food, entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community. Meet wish families, connect with fellow supporters, and enjoy a celebration of the impact you're helping create for local wish kids.

• Candle making with wish mom Sophia of Wick2Whispers
• Face painting and caricatures
• Vendor Village featuring local and wish family-owned businesses
• A monster truck photo op

Food truck tickets are $15 for adults and free for guests age 18 and under. Please register all attendees.

Can't attend? You can still donate in support of Walk for Wishes, our walkers, and wish kids!
