DC’s Dancing Stars Gala is an exciting luxury black-tie fundraising event full of all the fun, glitz and glamour of the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars! Local DC Celebrities and Corporate Leaders will learn a polished choreographed routine and perform at the Gala with a professional dance partner in a competition mirroring the television show. A panel of celebrity judges, along with the audience, will select the winner who will win the coveted mirror ball trophy and $15,000 for the charity of their choice. The gala will include a VIP cocktail reception, a sit-down gourmet dinner, the competition, a silent auction, and a DJ to dance the night away.
Lizeth Alvarado is an award-winning entrepreneur, beauty industry leader, speaker, and host. She is the founder of Epic Beauty Rx and the Greater Washington Academy of Permanent Makeup, where she has built a career around artistry, education, and empowering others to create new possibilities for themselves. Now, Lizeth is excited to put her dancing shoes back on as a 2026 Celebrity Dancer in DC’s Dancing Stars Gala. She is honored to take on this new challenge in support of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic and help make life-changing wishes possible for children and families throughout the region.
